Bruce Hollinger, CEO and President

Bruce Hollinger is President and one of the co-founders of WiSys. He Founded Macola Software in 1982 as a provider of PC business solutions at the onset of the introduction of the IBM PC. During the 22 years Bruce was with Macola the company developed a reseller channel of Business Partners of over 800 global companies that became the primary distribution and consulting channel for an installed customer base of over 16,000 global companies. He also was a key part of the development team for over 8 generations of product releases and directly managed the development team for the Macola ES product line. The Macola Progression product line won four unprecedented PC Magazine/Price Waterhouse Editors' Choice awards.

After Macola was acquired by Exact Software, Bruce joined Inspired Solutions where he was able to work directly with Macola Customers and developed an understanding of the type of missing solutions that WiSys provides today. As one of the Sr. Managing Partners at Inspired Solutions the company grew from a customer base of 60 to over 260 and became virtually the sole Business Partner for Exact Software in the Southeast. In 2005 Inspired Solutions was recognized by Accounting Technologymagazine as one of only eleven firms nationwide as a 2005 Killer VAR. In 2005 Inspired Solutions was acquired by Exact Software North America.

Michael Hollinger, Vice President

Mike Hollinger is Vice President and co-founder of WiSys LLC. He has been the primary developer of the Pocket ES device applications and has been directly involved in dozens of on site implementations of the WMS solution. Mike identified and leveraged the value of CE .Net as a new Bar Code non proprietary platform combined with standard wireless technology as the technology backbone of WiSys WMS.

Prior to becoming involved in WiSys, Mike worked for Booz, Allen and Hamilton on several SAP integration projects. Some of the most notable with the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, NASA Glenn Research Center, and the NASA Johnson Space Center. Working with tier one ERP systems he was amazed with the amount of effort required to integrate legacy data or the redundancy of re-keyed data. This background was a key component in realizing what value real time would bring to the ERP market and also to understanding how complex ERP transaction interfaces needed to be designed.

Mike graduated from the University of Dayton, OH with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.

John Nicol, Developer

John Nicol was one of the early developers at Macola and worked at Macola for over 15 years. Mr. Nicol began his illustrious tenure at Macola as head of support and documentation for the Operator 10 product line Line which is still the leading Municipality Water and Wastewater Plant software product in the industry today. Macola sold Operator 10 in the early 90's and Mr. Nicol then moved on to become a Manufacturing Consultant for Progression and became APICS certified. As a product consultant he coordinated and managed many on-site implementations of full Progression manufacturing systems.

John then moved on to working on the Quality Assurance team for testing and approving all Macola processes. However, John is best know as the manager of the development team that produced all of the Macola Visual Tool applications such as the Bill of Resource for Macola ES and the Visual Bill Builder in Progression. He was also the key developer of the new MRP system for Macola ES which was a complete re-write in transact SQL and led to a significant boost in regen performance over the Progression version.

Mr. Nicol joined WiSys in 2005 and is the primary developer of the WiSys Business Object Library, the SF Work Center Reporting, and the Pick/Pack module. While at Macola he developed object models for inventory, order entry, bill of material and Macola security.

Glen Poston, Developer

Glen Poston was one of first employees at Macola Software. Mr. Poston began his long and illustrious tenure at Macola in 1983 as the lead developer of the Operator 10 Product Line which is still the leading Municipality Water and Wastewater Plant software product in the industry today. Macola sold Operator 10 in the early 90's and Mr. Poston began working on the design and development of the Enterprise Reporting System which was the foundation for Flexibility, Progression Integrated Crystal Reports and the Progression SQL Search Engine.

The development of the Progression Version 7 series was a major re-write creating significant quality assurance problems. Mr. Poston next became manager of the QA department and was instrumental in building the Quality assurance team that wrote and developed regression scripts. Without his management of this team and without their effort, Version 7 would have probably never become stable. Those scripts are still used by Macola today.

Mr. Poston was next involved in the development of the system layer of Progression. This encompassed the User Interface and the Macola SQL layer (MSL) which is the core application enabling Progression and Macola ES to access SQL databases. Mr. Poston also developed most of the Excel Add in functions for Macola ES that work with Macola today.

In mid 2006 Mr. Poston joined WiSys and developed TaxSys V4.0 as the next generation of that product. He is also a key engineer in developing core technologies for WiSys.
