WiSys has worked in conjunction with NiceLabel version 5 and 6 for the past several years. Due to NiceLabel’s recent decision to discontinue development for the NiceLabel Runtime and a change in NiceLabel pricing structure, it is no longer feasible for WiSys to continue building new NiceLabel integrations. As a result, we will no longer be supporting NiceLabel beginning with version NiceLabel 2017.
Instead, WiSys will be incorporating our own label designing software as part of our Agility Design Studio development platform. The first WiSys build release that will include the Agility Label designer is our build release 567.5 due out in the fall of 2018.
If you are a customer developing your own NiceLabels, any labels designed in NiceLabel 2017 version or later will not function within WiSys. WiSys will continue to support NiceLabels designed in version 5 or 6 until there is a compelling event such as an operating system update or something else out of our control that would cause the runtime to stop working. NiceLabel version 5 is already no longer supported by NiceLabel and support for version 6 ends December 31, 2018.
